On Wednesday, February 4, 2009 the Van Buren School District took delivery of our 9 foot concert grand piano which was built by Steinway and Sons, Queens, New York.  Students from Kathy Hoover’s choir classes and Mike Jones’ AP Music theory classes were among the first persons associated with VBHS to play the new piano.  The piano, along with the fine arts center signifies a strong commitment by the school district and the community to students of the arts in Van Buren.
