Van Buren Hall of Honor Accepting Nominations

The Board of Directors for the Van Buren Hall of Honor announces a call for nominations. Submissions will be considered for induction into the 2019 Van Buren High School Hall of Honor Class.
The VBHS Hall of Honor was formed in 2000 and has 73 members. Inductees are selected by a 21-member board, which meets regularly, and considers all active nominees each spring. Nominees remain active as long as they continue to receive votes by the board during the selection period each year.
Nominations can be made based on the following criteria: Outstanding service to the Van Buren School District; Outstanding Civic Achievement; Outstanding Contributions; or Outstanding Post-High School Academic and/or Professional Career.
Nomination forms are available at the VBSD Administration Building, located at 2221 Pointer Trail. The form is also available on the VBSD website, www.VBSD.us/district/hall-of-honor. Individuals may also arrange to have a nomination form emailed or mailed to them by calling (479) 474-7942.
The deadline to submit nominations for consideration this year is May 3, 2019.
