VBSD partners with Baptist Health for "Kinder Urgent Care" program

A trip to the ER can be scary, but Van Buren students  were given the chance to see first-hand what is involved with x-rays and hospital visits through the “Kinder Urgent Care” program. Van Buren Kindergartners traveled to Baptist Health in Van Buren on April 23 & 24 to learn about the human body, what to expect at the hospital, as well as tips about how to stay healthy during their field trip today. Hospital staff demonstrated the steps and procedures a patient would experience if taken to the ER for a broken arm, with the goal of making hospital visits less intimidating for students.
