Staff Needs Assessment
Since the outset of the technology implementation in Van Buren School
District, teachers and administrators have participated in an active
professional development program. In the future all staff members will
participate in surveys to assess current skills based upon ISTE National
Technology Standards for Teachers and Administrators. Post course evaluations
will provide feedback on training effectiveness. The district technology
committee will combine the results and use them to create professional
development strategies for the next couple of years.
