PTA Council
The PTA is the largest national organization promoting
the welfare of children, and Van Buren Public Schools have
very active PTA units. PTA endeavors to develop unified
efforts between educators and the general public to
secure the highest advantages in physical, mental and
social education for all children. The mission of the PTA is three fold:
- to assist parents in developing the skills they need to raise and protect their children
- to support and speak on behalf of the children to schools, community and governmental agencies;
- to encourage parent and public involvement in public schools
