Assessment
The Arkansas
Department of Education (ADE) requires that all students in grades 3-8 be assessed using a criteria redefined benchmark test in literacy and math.
Students in grades 5 and 7 also take a science test. An End-Of-Course Algebra, End-Of-Course Geometry, 11th Grade Literacy, End-Of-Course Algebra II,
and Biology Test are also required. A norm-referenced test is required for students in grades K-9 starting in 2007-2008, the Stanford 10 will be used.
