Technology plays a pivotal role in education today. The VBSD Technology Department oversees technology equipment and initiatives across the District, helping ensure that students and staff have the tools they need to learn and teach.

The Technology team is responsible for maintaining devices, upgrading software, installing equipment, and working with District leadership to ensure that safety and security standards are met. Technicians also respond to Help Desk requests submitted by staff members.

The District is committed to providing students and staff with access to the latest and most relevant tools available to enhance the overall educational experience.  VBSD classrooms are outfitted with modern technology designed to prepare students for college, career, and beyond. Skillful use of technology supports the development of process skills such as flexibility, adaptability, critical thinking, problem solving, and collaboration, which are essential to success in the rapidly changing information age.
