Van Buren Wrestling Program captures multiple state titles; Boys win Team State Championship

The Van Buren Wrestling Program had a most impressive showing at the 5A Arkansas Wrestling Tournament in Little Rock this past weekend. The Pointers had a total of 15 All-State Wrestlers between the boys and girls' programs, with seven capturing individual state titles. Grant King won his second consecutive individual state title in the 215 weight class. Pointer Shiloh Summer broke the school record, winning his third state title in the 132 weight class.
The Van Buren Boys Wrestling Team also successfully defended its title, bringing home another State Championship trophy. The Van Buren Girls Team placed third overall.
