Van Buren Education Foundation awards more than $21,000 in grants

Pointer Patrol Days are the best days! On March 30, the Van Buren School District Education Foundation awarded 17 grants totaling $21,711 for innovative projects & technology.

The Foundation is a 501(c)3 organization that relies on donations and supports the purpose of improving teaching and learning in Van Buren through innovative educational initiatives. Grants are awarded through an application process that occurs twice each year. Since its inception in 2001, the VBSD Education Foundation has awarded more than $1 million in classroom grants.
