Schoolcraft earns NBPTS Certification

At its May meeting, the VBSD Board of Education recognized Oliver Springs Elementary School first grade teacher Emily Schoolcraft for earning her National Board for Professional Teaching Standards (NBPTS) Certification. Applying is a rigorous process and those who earn the NBPTS certification are recognized as having met the profession’s highest standards for accomplished practice. VBSD Deputy Superintendent Brian Summerhill presented Schoolcraft with a special NBPTS door plaque for her classroom. Congratulations to Mrs. Schoolcraft on this great acheivement!
