VBSD to offer free meals in 2021-2022

The Van Buren School District is pleased to announce that breakfast and lunches will be served to all students at NO CHARGE during the 2021-2022 school year.
Families are NOT required to complete a free/reduced meals application to participate.
The USDA announced that it would extend the free meals initiative to help families and to ensure students have access to nutritious food. Free meals are available to all students ages 18 and under. All food lines at all schools apply, but students will still be charged for special à la carte items
All adults, e.g., visitors, teachers, support staff members, and administrators, must assume the full cost of meals. Breakfast is $2.50 and lunch is $3.50.
Households who wish to complete a meals application can do so online.
