VBSD Kindergarten Registration for the 2025-26 school year will be held on Friday, April 11, 2025, at 8 a.m. at your zoned elementary school. Families will have the opportunity to meet the staff, tour classrooms, and complete the enrollment process. Remember, enrollment must occur at the school zoned for your residence. Check VBSD Attendance Zones to confirm where to enroll your child.

Kindergarten students for the 2025-2026 school year must turn five years of age on or before August 1, 2025. Parents must submit the following: a copy of their child’s shot record; birth certificate; social security card; proof of address; and proof of a physical exam from a doctor dated within the past two years.

 

To date, Arkansas law requires the following immunizations: four DTap and three Polio doses, one of which is received after the child’s fourth birthday; one Hepatitis A, on or after the first birthday; three Hepatitis B; two MMRs, one of which is received after the first birthday, and two Varicella (Chicken Pox) vaccines, one of which is received after the first birthday.
