The Van Buren School District is proud to share that VBSD has been named the Top Public School winner in the 2025 Fort Smith Community’s Choice Awards. This regional program, presented by the Times Record, highlights outstanding organizations, businesses, and services throughout Fort Smith and the surrounding area.
This recognition is especially meaningful because it reflects the voices and experiences of the families, staff, and community members who support our schools. It affirms the work taking place across the district and the positive impact our students and educators make each day.
The Community’s Choice Awards celebrate excellence across more than 170 categories. Being included among this year’s winners is both an honor and a reminder of the strong partnership between VBSD and the surrounding community.
